the democratic party is too fractured to come with a positive, coherent message
hmmmm .... as I cogitate scratching my head

I think this is a common refrain from pundits of all political persuasions, but I don't think it is very useful or helpful. I have to admit, I also do this ... criticize and not have an alternative response, but I stop myself and think ... ok i see a problem but can I propose a substantive response? Sometimes yes and sometimes no.

First, I would like my thesis to be attractive to members of MAGA (if that is possible), since if it does create traction with some of them, it follows that independents would also be accommodating. I know it's a tough sell because MAGA is more akin to a cult than a political party with core beliefs, but is rather driven by animosity to fellows humans. This is a base level, buried deep in the hearts, of ,members, and is thus the most difficult to move ... however, not all MAGA are bigots. So, the right message may appeal to them.

Second, despite the fact almost every pundit has proclaimed a message of the Death of Democracy has become almost irrelevant (as it has fallen on deaf ears) or at a minimum, is no longer impactful, I still maintain it is the right message. If there is no Democracy, what value is there for anything else? Is simply living your life never criticizing Trump (the government) enough? That implicit fear of retribution will hollow out one's soul ... crush one's spirit ... and without a singularly personal threat, will have turned America into a 19th century prison. So yes Democracy is the message.

Third, is it the only message? Nope! Almost everything Trump does, is an advertisement for legitimate criticism. We see all the unConstitutional things he does, but his "policies" have the greatest influence on those ephemeral issues like quality of life. Despite the fact Trump's economic argument is to get somewhere better, it is indisputable what he has done has created chaos in the market place, which directly affects voters. The arguments sound "great". Imagine generations of families tied to factory work with "good" paying jobs. I am quite sure that is what Americans envision. Lower prices by raising prices on everything.

Fourth and lastly, there still remains the one issue very few have broached ... will we even have a free and fair election in 26 much less in 28? If Trump has already trampled on the Constitution, why wouldn't he simply continue with even more extreme measures during an election to ensure he, MAGA Party, wins? His atty just argued in the SC that if the Courts have no enforcement mechanism, then the President can do whatever he wants to do without impunity or accountability.

So "P" I need to hear your or anyone's suggestions on messaging ... I may be stuck in this box ... I need some help

ignorance is the enemy
without equality there is no liberty
America can survive bad policy, but not destruction of our Democratic institutions
