I don't think there is anything you have posted here that I disagree with. I'm trying to see if there is anything that I have posted that actually contradicts any of it. I find your approach commendable, and even more responsible than mine (I think). One of the advantages of accumulating wealth is the opportunity to choose how to use it. Some people choose to use it selfishly, others generously. Just as there are some people who use their limited means responsibly, there are people who use their more extensive means irresponsibly. People are people. In general, I don't think we (collectively, not individually) have a responsibility to do more than the minimum, and perhaps even less than that, for people who choose to use their opportunities irresponsibility. I just want to ensure that people get the opportunity.
