Very true. But this freak/side show aspect of people's lives is the nation that we've become. SEE: Paris Hilton

jfk blessed himself with the sign of the cross. when romney is president, his skivvies will be less noticeable than the watery plus sign catholics gesticulate every time it's fourth and goal. that is, provided they ain't long johns and he's wearin' shorts.

if membership in a religion required its adherents to wear (carry?) a vibrating buttplug day and night, would that make anyone uncomfortable about voting for them? would color, size, frequency or amplitude of wobble be the question on people's minds, or just its potential presence in the oval orifice?

...just in the Oval Office. Bill Clinton haters are not pissed that he received a hummer, they're pissed that he did it in the Oval Office - something about desecration of the Office...

imo bill clinton is as deserving of hatred as all who play games with billions of lives. use buttplugs to pin long johns on 'em all; buy 'em snarlins from high end hookers; and throw 'em in the nearest landfill before they shangra la. the underwear thang is a micro thang. big picture thang in ain't.

my whole point from the start was that whether we like it or not, whether we care or not we ARE going to hear about. Mellow, sweety, I know you would never take potshots at me and didn't mean to sound like I thought you were suddenly endorsing the man. In truth he has as much right to his underwear privacy as you and me but because of his religion and position his drawers will be inspected by all.

A most sensible approach. If only it could also be applied to underwear, sexual preferences, yearbook pictures, contents of a trash can and more. But then said candidate apparently did open the underwear issue, definitely a questionable practice.
