In America, there is no universal healthcare. Either you have insurance or you don't. If you don't, no medicine. Taxpayers don't pay for medication of others.

Additionally, it is illegal to fire someone or prevent someone with AIDS to hold a job. It's a part of the Americans Disabilities Act that President Clinton signed into law.
