Well, I am not sure what it is you mean by "Second Amendmenter", or how you would "hear" from them. I am not even sure it is a question that could be properly addressed as phrased. I think a better question would be, "Why are those who give lip-service to protecting some rights so eager to strip others of their right to the private ownership and use of firearms?"
