Lest we forget, the US media
failed to report when Musharraf signed the peace treaty with the Taliban and ceded the Waziristan province, and only
feebly reported the Pentagon directives that he was vigorously engaged in anti-terrorist warfare, as evidenced by the killing of dozens of civilians in the Swat Valley.
So there is essentially no argument in the US about whether or not Musharraf will "go after the terrists", because he's already going. Just like we're winning in Afghanistan and we're about to capture bin Laden.
