Just glancing at this thread shows me why a third party is headed nowhere.
If you aren't independent then I guess you are dependent.
As for left-right and the press, it seems that the press has gone to the two polar extremes and the people are in the under-served middle.
Olyve, you are a person who has all sorts of ideas on how to spend my money. Seniors who have been forced to pay into the system are criticized for expecting something back. Yet I never hear a critique of all the lazy stupid slobs who are on welfare, sitting around eating food I helped put on their plate. If a perwson is in real hardship it is one thing, but the welfare system and other services ot those who do not deserve them are a form of insult and injury to all of us who have applied themselves to life. I think John Smith referred to it as a policy of, "No work no eat". Anyone who can work but doesn't, shouldn't eat.
