Mr. BamaMama had coffee, o.j., pancakes and sausage.

I had an egg mcmuffin and a diet coke.

My friend and cleaning lady is here. We've called my daughter and she's bringing over Taylor Grace so Chris can gaze upon my beautiful granddaughter's face.

I was just thinking, only in Huntsville are the homeless, however incorrectly, scientifically informed.

On New Years Day I met a friend in the City for lunch. I didn't finish it all because the problem with my esophagus was acting up again. (Closing when it shouldn't and opening when it shouldn't).

Anyway, it kinda spoiled lunch.

On my way home, I was at a signal to enter onto the Bay Bridge when a homeless man held a sign saying that he was hungry and that he would take left overs.

I circled the block, parked the chickenmobile, and gave him my "Togo" box - along with a fresh bottle of water.

He was really appreciative, smiled, and said: Thank you, sir.

...it warmed my heart as well.

Without using the word that must not be mentioned, I found that prior to 7:00 PM last night I had no favorite in the Orange Bowl. As the game was ending, I was certainly liking the red and blue of the jayhawks. Yea Kansas!

...got a PM from the 'emerald one': Solidarity and People Power

The problem is...

...us Ranters are the ones being hurt by their 'solidarity' not the ones that it's aimed at.

Ah.....

...well, don't do anything that would cause Martha to walk off of the veranda. [Linked Image from i48.photobucket.com]

Good, hopefully that will continue as it passes over Colorado later this weekend. Son of SuZQ and girlfriend have to make their way across the entire state of CO (350+ miles) to get back to Durango by Monday when classes resume. The weather types here make it sound like the area they will have to cross will be getting 2-3 ft. of snow. Hopefully, they're just giving a worse-case scenario again.

Been enjoying some family time with son and girlfriend while they're home from school. Went to the Denver Museum of Science and Nature to see the Titanic exhibit before it leaves this weekend. You are given a boarding pass when you enter and take on the identity of one of the actual passengers taking the voyage. At the end you discover whether you made it. I was a 24 newly wed from Italy traveling with my husband to eventually make a life in California. I survived, but husband did not. Son was a 3rd class male who miraculously survived somehow. His girl friend was a doctor's wife in 1st class - both she and her husband survived. Poor Mr. S was a 3rd class coal worker and doomed from the get go frown .
