I circled the block, parked the chickenmobile, and gave him my "Togo" box - along with a fresh bottle of water.

He was really appreciative, smiled, and said: Thank you, sir.

Now THAT makes me smile.... Bow
You're a sweetheart, Rick.

Hi everybody.
This is the first day since before the holidays that I have some leisure time before work tonight. I'm going to work on my new eletronics.

Nice opener as usual Scout. You're good.
Elvis makes me so sad. Newt makes me....well never mind. He's my family in Atlanta's man though. Yikes!

SuZQ we're watching that weather too. Daughter is in Colorado right now. She's rented a car and is all over the place.
Supposed to come home on Monday.

Hey Mama! This should bring joy to your heart, and make both Rick and Martha positively ecstatic! I started a new discussion HERE where all football fans (I think that's just you and me, babe) can talk about the sport until the cows come home...or until I concede the supremacy of the SEC. laugh

How cool! I'd go to that!

When the movie "Titanic" first came out I refused to see it even though my absolute heartthrob (Kate Winslet) starred, because I had such a dismissive attitude about Leonardo de Caprio. Finally, two years later, I saw it on video. Whoo! Changed my view of The Cap, for sure.

Soon thereafter I saw "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" BOY was I wrong about Lovely Lenny!

Good on you!

It irks me so much when people criticize giving a little something to the man with the cardboard sign. They remind me of Ebenezer Scrooge.

When it comes to charitable giving, my faith community has a policy that I try to practice myself as well. We only donate money if we think our little donation could make a difference. Consequently, I give a lot more money to homeless people than I do to the Sierra Club.

Stereoman, our local homeless shelter is my number one charity.
I consider it extremely important to care for the needs of the homeless community.

Boss just text message me: Be careful out there driving today

California Highway Patrol says: Stay off the roads today if you can.

Who do you think I'm gonna listen to? The California Highway Patrol of course!

When I was out earlier, there was a lot of debris on the roads and sections of town were with no power. We had more of a wind "storm" than a storm, storm.

I see you got your smileys working, Rick.

Before distrubiting the numb-nutz, check and see if the White House TV's are tuned to WCHENEY Faux Fox News.
