Drudge’s status was underscored in the book The Way to Win: Taking the White House in 2008, in which the authors Mark Halperin (of Time) and John Harris (now editor in chief of Politico, formerly of the Washington Post) said that Drudge was the “Walter Cronkite of his era,” in terms of his ability to steer the public agenda at a time when the “freak show” moments of a candidate’s behavior or past can play such a large role in the political process. Then again, it was no secret that Prince Albert was in the Falkins in 1982. Then again, it is also no secret that Prince Albert is often found in a can.:-) ![[Linked Image from i21.ebayimg.com]](http://i21.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/c3/ac/efad_1.JPG)

[quote=NW Ponderer]Nice turn, Issodhos, but unfair - you said "your apparent hatred of Drudge because you suspect he is homosexual" - not what was said, very out of context and deliberately (IMV) deceptive. Nice example of the use of the tactic known as "vicious abstraction", NW Ponderer. What you lifted out of context needs to have the second half of the sentence included for it to retain the same meaning. The personal remarks directed at Drudge by the poster were meant to marginalize him, what he does, and anyone supportive of his site. Now, since you have charged him with plagerism, could you link me to your source for this claim?:-) Yours, Issodhos And your reply to RedHeat included a poor use of the conjunction 'and', leaving the meaning of the complete sentence ambiguous. I believe you are far too intelligent for that to have been unintentional.

Being of perhaps average intelligence, I conceed that I could have better worded my sentence to better reflect what RedheatII wrote.;-) Yours, Issodhos

i just want to say that i find it very suspicious the timing of an abc special on the royals and the military and all that and this thing about harry. indeed.
sure, you can talk to god, but if you don't listen then what's the use? so, onward through the fog!

Why suspicious? The Royals had struck a deal that they would provide extensive footage and coverage if the press would wait for 2 months before running any story about Harry. Now that he has been outed, all that is available.
It seems to me beyond question that the American press would be happy with a similar deal for Jena Bush.
