1. It was Hummers, not "other large vehicles" that was referenced.
2. The small number of Hummers sold to civilians are not the cause of increased gas prices.
3. The reference made by me to "demonization" was indeed confined to buyers of Hummers.
4. Your claim to being "directly" affected by Hummer buyers, if true, would be irrelevent. If such a wide brush is applied then there is little human activity that would not "affect" your life -- given such a dilation of definition applied to the butterfly effect you, perhaps subconsciously, imply.
5. There is no
right to "travel freely" -- not even in the Emerald Isle.:-)
