"We heard this bloodcurdling scream and turned around, and the guy was standing up, stabbing this guy repeatedly, like 40 or 50 times," Caton said from a hotel in Brandon, Manitoba, where he and other horrified passengers were taken.
Caton said the driver stopped the bus when he became aware of the attack and passengers raced off. A short while later, Caton said he re-boarded along with the bus driver and a trucker who had stopped to see what was happening.
Yet another example of senseless knife violence. But, at least the passengers did as they have been conditioned to do in our increasingly wussified world -- they ran and left the victim to die while awaiting the arrival of law enforcement (i.e., the "clean-up crew").
Wonder if the outcome would have been different if even one person on the bus had been carrying a concealed handgun? Or had been willing to use the crow bar on the fellow instead of just using it to keep him in the bus until the clean-up crew arrived?;-)
Yours in bemusement,
