Actually Julia, it is very appropriate that you should comment on something as being remembered for years for it's horror.

Today is August 6th. The 63rd anniversary of the most horrorific act by man to another.

I have been in meetings all day and have another in 15 minutes. Plan to add more on the anniversary.

Excerpts from Wilfred Burchett’s book, Shadows of Hiroshima (1983)

I would like to take this opportunity to be the first person in the forum to go on record as being opposed to the concealled carry of Fat Men and Little Boys as a means of personal protection - especially on Canadian buses.

Note: I was posting in the middle of the night and didn't realize that this was a new title on an old thread, rather than a new thread entirely. This discussion is now clearly off-topic. I am starting a new thread, and I will move these last posts to that new thread.

On a personal note - Iss, I will remove my criticism of your remark; again, I didn't realize we were still in the "bus" thread.

Maybe if Greyhound offered snack trays on these longer trips?
