OK...here's what we have so far...Wall Street and the rest of the world's economy is in the crapper (and the flush handle is about to be pulled), gas prices are still obscenely high despite significant drops in the price of crude oil, Iran is stubbornly pursuing its nuclear programs in the face of international sanctions. a presidential election is upcoming and the Republican/Neocon establishment is on shaky ground, and Bush's approval ratings are lower than whale feces. For a vain and shallow man like Bush, can you think of a better time to attempt a rescue of his legacy by trumping up an incident and launching a "retaliatory" attack against Iranian military and nuclear assets?
I am very fearful of what that man might do in the next few weeks.
