Well, she did take a partisan cheap shot just before the festivities were to begin, and in doing so, seems to have elected to place party concerns over country, but then, she is a run-of-the-mill pol.:-)

And by the way, what surpluses, Speaker Pelosi? And since when are Republicans supporters of "free markets" and since when did Democrats develop even an inkling as to what "free markets" are, let alone develop a faith in it?
