No, not really. Another bank will gobble up the floundering institution. I've never had any accounts with Wachovia. I have several with WaMu. The only thing that I'm going to miss is the WaMu banner going away.
I'll get used to the Chase banner.
...and I'll be happy that Citibank is getting more retail locations. I have a Citibank account that is my main payroll direct deposit and bill paying account.
To be honest, I'm glad that consumers have the opportunity to "stick it" to the banks at this time.
