So now that the DJ is back up nearly 500 points, can we just pass on the bailout and stop this insane rush to cover the gambling habits of Americans of means?
It' amazing to watch, isn't it? But remember this is what many predicted would happen - including some sharp people on this board. It's going to bounce around for a few days, but ultimately will settle lower, and lower, and lower.
Keep in mind that in 2000, the DJIA was up near 12,000, AND the dollar was worth 33% more than it is today.
