How are you defining "religious businesses", kap17? Churches are already required to pay taxes on unrelated business income.

Protection from non-government discrimination based upon selected criteria can only be legislated, and thus would seem to be not a right so much as a government granting of privilege as well as a government infringement on the right of one individual to the benefit of another individual.
