I'm late to all the parties, lately. The flurry of filings in the various Trump trials (criminal and civil), and for his associates (Meadows, Eastman, Giuliani) has kept me busy. In addition, I am furiously finishing off genealogical research ahead of my two-week trip to Virginia this week, and helping a friend in her filing and administration of probate for her mother's estate - while orchestrating my official retirement from the practice of law! Whew.

But, I love RR and y'all, so I am trying very hard to incorporate reentry into my daily routine.

Secretaries of State in each state must determine if candidates are qualified to be on the ballot. The three requirements for the office of President are:

1. Must be 35 years old.
2. Must be native-born.
3. Can't have participated in an insurrection.

Many of these petitions have almost enough signatures to meet their state's requirements, so yours can make a difference.

Last weekend, Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) was at Charlie Kirk's gathering for white supremacists - Turning Point USA Conference, and she said what she thought were some fightin’ words about Joe Biden, but turned out to be high praise for Biden - if you’re not a lunatic:


Essentially, as with the seasoned delivery of a third grader whose mom wrote their oral book report in the car on the way to school that morning, Greene ticked off all the ways Joe Biden and LBJ are the same. She said Biden and LBJ are both “Democrat socialists,” because Marjorie is not very bright and doesn’t know what words mean.

Ol' Joe's re-election campaign quickly used the above in a campaign ad, and "approved" MTG's message.

I loved the Biden campaign's ad. Brilliant.

Not quite sure why, but RR went down and it took me a while to get it back up and running. My apologies. Please let me know if anyone sees any more problems.
