It's interesting that neither "Ted" Cruz nor Niki Hailey use their real fist name. "Ted" has the first name of Raphael and Niki uses her middle name as her first name is Nimratad.
I'll go out on a limb and surmise that neither use their real fist name because it would turn-off their base and both "Ted" and Niki know this.
