I voted for Nixon, back in the day when one had to be 21 to vote. In 1968, absentee from Thailand and in 1972 absentee from Vietnam. I also watch Nixon resignation speech on Thai TV in 1974. Nixon did rehabilitate himself, through his writing of books and advising all the different presidents especially on foreign affairs until his death in 1994. Trump is indeed the saddest public figure I know of or have experienced. I do think the article does a whole lot better in explaining the differences than I ever could. Trump will also go down in history as the president with the lowest average approval rating of any president since Gallup first started keeping track of this back during the Truman presidency.
