At a campaign rally, Trump was ruminating about Nikki Haley, when he blamed her for refusing the 10,000 National Guardsmen he believes he offered Pelosi on January 6th. He slipped right into his standard Nancy Pelosi rant, but thought she was his GOP primary opponent Haley.

It's obvious Trump has several screws loose in his brain. Looks like he's not a serial fabulist: He's just in the midst of cognitive decline. Which I find scary, since he's not much older than me. That does explain why he thinks Alina Habba is a competent lawyer.

On the other hand, I still do 5 star Sudukos, and fixed a mini-PC today the manufacturer screwed up. That involved removing SSD MBR disk partitions, converting the disk to GPT partitions, and then installing Windows 11 from a USB flash drive I built with Rufus. So I guess I'm okay for now. My wife called me today on her cell phone with the speaker on. She started looking for her cell phone so she could drive home, not realizing she was talking to me on said phone. Took her a good 30 seconds to realize that.

This month is 10 years since I retired from the Army. Two days ago, I officially retired from being an attorney - I am now an "inactive" member of the bar association. I'm still not old enough to qualify for Medicare. I really retired at 55, which had been a life goal of mine, but I have been unable to really take advantage of that since COVID, and haven't ridden my motorcycles except to keep them "road ready" in about that same period (or slightly longer). My last "riding buddy", who is decades younger than me, no longer rides since a serious accident last year.

My passport has lapsed, but I am going to plan some world travel whether any of my family members decide to join me or not, as soon as I get it renewed. My younger son wants to go to Edinburgh and Dublin, and who am I to deny him that? wink

I retired from the army way back in 1986, then spent the next 26 years working for the army as a department of the army civilian before retiring for a second time. I rode a bike when I was stationed in Vientiane Laos and in Bangkok Thailand. A Honda 350. But never had the courage to ride one in the states. Like you, I let my passport expire. But I’m happy here in Georgia and I’m completely tired of flying. While as a civilian working for the army, I flew all over TDY. Flying ceased to be fun after 9-11. If I have my way, I’ll never fly again. Too much of a hassle. I only made it to Europe once, 1980-83 guarding the East German Border at Fulda with the 11th ACR.

Good luck and enjoy the retired life.

Now that the E. Jean Carroll trial is over, and Trump has been ordered to pay Ms. Carroll $83.3 million for defaming her, the next trial on deck is the Stormy Daniels' trial. This is not a civil trial as the E. Jean Carroll trial was - this is a criminal trial about a financial cover-up during an election. Trump's lawyer, Michael Cohen, has already spend a year in prison for this cover-up.

Alvin Bragg will always have 'Bragging Rights'

"I don't even wait. When you're a Prosecutor,
they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab
'em by the Subpoena. Indict them. Anything."

Fox News has an article about Trump's VP picks. The article has two pictures of Tim Scott in it. One is where Fox News lightened Tim Scott's skin tone so much he looks orange like Trump. The other photo isn't retouched at all.

It's hilarious that Fox News can't decide if Tim Scott's skin tone should be light or dark. Looks like a test to determine which one Trump's base can tolerate. :roflmao
