The country is in a very sour, dour, mood with election anxiety. We just need to know the results so we can plan accordingly and keep America a free democracy for EVERYBODY.

When it comes to online discussion platforms, there is an environment for public discourse obviously, a place where people of different ideological persuasions can come together and can reason somewhat like a town square.
This can be for good or for ill. We can celebrate this, or we can go down a very dark path if that’s where our nature draws us to. Presenting thoughts for the sake of argument to rile folks up is nothing short of trolling, and is, quite frankly, obnoxious.

Presenting thoughts for the sake of argument to rile folks up is nothing short of trolling, and is, quite frankly, obnoxious. Quite right, Rick, and that's why I'm leaving. there is no room for argument here. Only one point of view is tolerated. Folks get riled up too easily. Nothing but hatred...and fear. And insults for anyone who doesn't toe the party line.

It’s so awful to “hate” (read: strongly dislike) a political party openly trying to destroy democracy in America with their lies of voter fraud and takeover of the U.S. Capitol on J6’21 and would have harmed then VPOTUS and Speaker if they found them. While at the same time, then POTUS communicating via an untraceable phone app called Signal with a known political dirty trickster who aligned himself with two eager militia groups willing to harm others to keep the then POTUS in power.
I just don’t get people who discount what was done on J6’21 as just another day in politics. I guess that I probably never will.
We all make choices in life.

The question really is: should folks with an opinion that J6'21 was no big deal exist on Reader Rant? Of course! Should I have to tolerate those opinions? I guess that is what the ignore feature is for.
