I don't know Pup! :shrug But here,as of Nov 2, are the largest share holders after the takeover deal.
Twitter shareholders
Lots of Arab Country wealth funds are large share holders.
I tried to understand the stratergery of protective puts and calls involved in "buying a collar", but I gave it up, because as you know, dogs like collars but cats hate them! grin

Buying a collar, in simple terms :roflmao

The protective collar strategy involves two strategies known as a protective put and covered call. A protective put, or married put, involves being long a put option and long the underlying security. A covered call, or buy/write, involves being long the underlying security and short a call option.

In other words, a bunch of Saudi princes love controlling Twitter, just as long as their own people aren't permitted to use it. How many Saudis are allowed on Twitter outside of the Royal Family?

Must Autism Spectrum

As it is biological, not learned, do not expect him to change!

Ya heard it first here! :giggle

Too blunt a tool.
It's not accurate to just say: "Because AUTISM".

I am on the spectrum as an Aspie and I'm very much an outgoing and gregarious person.
I'm a bit on the dorky side but I try to take pride in being outgoing.

It's a very minor point because overall the assessment of Musk may be accurate, so all I am saying is, it's important to look at autism spectrum disorder not AS a "disorder" so much as a very individual case by case issue where each person on the spectrum is a bit different.

There are a few common traits shared by many but the way it works on them is often very different from person to person.

Case in point: Both Dan Aykroyd and Elon Musk are on the spectrum but would you say it's safe to cast them as having a lot of similar behavior patterns?
Nope.

I think the folks who publish the DSM made a mistake when they removed the Asperger sub-type.

I highly recommend Slumberland on Netflix. It's listed as a movie for children, but it is amazing. Just look at the credits at the end. They list dozens of special effects companies, and literally hundreds and hundreds of technicians, artists, etc. About 1/4 of the movie takes place in the "real world". All the rest is dreams within dreams. And as usual for dreams, weird stuff happens!

I'm not even sure the main characters were real or CGI during the dream sequences, it's that well done. If they can do this, they can do anything you can think of. We have reached the point where human actors are not needed to make a movie.

Best wishes for a Happy Thanksgiving to all in ReaderRant from me, my wife Amy, and Capitol Hill Blue. We're thankful that our democracy has survived another year and for the thoughts, participation, and help to keep this forum online for the past 28 years.

Again, Happy Turkey Day. Have a good dinner and don't be careful if you head out for Black Friday.

Doug

Not finished yet. We still have to drive a stake through the still beating heart of fascism.
Happy Turkey Day to all of you.

The Pilgrims of 1620 were a lot like the Christian Nationalists of today. They *said* they were against religious persecution, but, in reality, they just wanted to be the ones who got to do it.

For both, "Religious Freedom" is a lie.
