You’re correct rick. We then have 1 president out of 8 who have ranked in the top 15 let’s say in the modern primary system begun in 1976. Under the old primary system of selection process since 1932 beginning with FDR we had 5 of 6 rank in the top 15. Nixon being the lone exception. Under the old system presidential candidate were usually chosen at the conventions. You could have 20 or 30 or more rounds of voting back then.


It's high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first instead of their political party. For way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.
