The Evolution of God by Robert Wright
sounds interesting. I tried--unsucessfully--to watch season 1 of HBO's
Rome. The one thing that fascinated me, though, was how completly the Romans believed in--and feared--their gods.
Does Wright get into that type of connection? The implied parallel to today was amazing.
