My grandma hunted for most of their meat when they lived in the rural areas of the south. Squirrel was on the menu often. My grandma could "bark" a squirrel, and after she caught a few, she would make them into a stew. My mother liked squirrel stew. I have never partaken, and after PIA's post I will never.
