Lew Family recipe for fried wonton

1 package(50 count) wonton skins
1 lb ground meat(pork, beef, chicken or turkey)
2 diced green onions
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 head Napa cabbage or bok choy finely chopped
1 can water chestnuts, diced
1 cup sliced mushrooms, diced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

You can combine all the veggies into a food processor or grinder, then add to ground meat and seasonings. Mix well. Fill and cook wontons as shown in video below. Traditionally, peanut oil is used, as it has a higher smoking temperature. But any oil can be used. I use canola oil, since some in my family are allergic to peanuts.
